I took my cat Tango in as an emergency, we weren’t registered but we were seen immediately and from the start the team were so caring and honest. Unfortunately Tango had to be put to sleep but the team were so kind to us and considerate of our feelings and love for Tango, they allowed us to take all the time we needed to say goodbye to our baby, even when she had passed they treated her with such respect and dignity, thank you all so much for what you did for us and Tango.

Lovely friendly place. The vet was easy to talk to and helped us feel less anxious when our dog had a fit.

I had to use PVH on a Sunday for an emergency appointment, which was obviously expensive but I was very pleased to have somewhere to go on a Sunday and I had an unhurried and informative consult with a very nice vet, plus some medication to take away. They are going to email all details to my regular vet.

The vet we spoke to was very kind and helpful and clearly extremely knowledgeable in exotics care, which put me at ease, knowing my guinea pig was in great hands with someone who knew all about guinea pigs, their anatomy, and their general health. The vet also remembered my previous guinea pigs, who we brought in many months ago, and was asking after them, showing how much she cares about individual pets, despite how many dozens of animals she must treat on a daily basis. Thank you very much for the great work you do!

Wonderful vet. However this review is about their new building. Outside it looks spacious, however don't be deceived. Whoever designed the layout has never had a thought about other pets in such close proximity. I much prefer the old hospital layout..... even their ex practice at Victoria Road, St Budeaux. You could be seen and there was a means of exit to avoid bumping into other dogs. I prefer to be seen and out another way other than reception. This building has none of that. Walk out of consultation room and "SURPRISE!!" there's a dog within cm''s. If this had been their old hospital at Estover they would've received 5 stars... needs to be said.

I can’t recommend Jo and her Puppy Academy classes enough. Attending with my two puppies has been such a wonderful experience. Jo’s knowledge of dog behaviour is incredible, watching how naturally in tune she is with the pups is genuinely amazing. She explains things in a way that makes everything easy to understand, and I’ve learned so much from her. The confidence she has given me when handling and training my two puppies is invaluable. Jo is also such a warm, honest and funny person. She’s very easy to talk to and I’ve really enjoyed our conversations during the sessions. She creates such a welcoming and supportive environment for both dogs and owners. Even when I’m out walking my puppies now, I often find myself thinking, “What would Jo say?” which shows just how much her advice and guidance has stayed with me. If you love dogs as much as Jo does, she’s exactly the kind of person you want teaching you. I feel very lucky to have found her Puppy Academy and would recommend her to anyone starting their journey with a puppy.

I absolutely can't thank the vets and vet nurses who work here enough. I also would like to mention the receptionists who were so incredibly helpful through one of the most stressful days of our lives. My six month old kitten had an accident involving a mirror, which led to a suspected fracture and him not being able to put one of his back legs down. This is not our usual practice, and he had only been there for a round of injections previously. We didn't have an appointment, but they saw us in a very quick and timely matter. The vets provided us with an outstanding level of care, explained all our options very clearly, and helped to get Salem back on four paws. They are an amazing team who truly care for every animal brought to them. We have one very happy little cat who is back to causing chaos as normal thanks to their efforts.

Just completed Puppy Training class with Jo, these sessions are excellent and free if you are part of pet club plan. We've learnt so much in the few sessions we've attended, from basic training to socialisation. Lots of information sheets provided too. Would 100% recommend thanks Jo!
